Driven by a passion for the textures found in various surfaces, the artist seeks out connections between them in their work. Consequently, they opt to utilize tattoo equipment as materials to craft shapes and textures.
The design adorning the bag is crafted using tattoo needles, colored plugs, and assorted equipment. These tattooing materials are dipped in paint and splashed onto paper, each imparting a distinct shape. The resulting array of colors and forms is then combined to compose a distinctive pattern.
This piece is a fusion of tattooing elements typically displayed on human skin. However, in this instance, a new narrative emerges through a different texture.
